Alfred G. Gray, superintendent of the Masonic Home at Darlington,
died suddenly Friday night of heart failure. Mr. Gray was attending  a children's entertainment and was one of the most jovial of the crowd. At about 10 o'clock he suddenly complained of being unable to breathe  and a severe pain in his heart.  He was given a dose of medicine and  in a few minutes said "I feel all right. The pain is gone".  Mr. Gray lived  only a short time after.

The funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the  Chapel at Darlington, Grand Master Monroney being in charge and the remains taken to Cheyenne , OK.  ,  for interment.

Mr. Gray was elected Grand Master of Oklahoma A.F. & A.M.  in 1912 and took charge as superintendent of the home in May, 1913.
