BURNS SERVICES AT 2:30 TUESDAY
Tuttle, Sept. 21-----William David Burns died Tuesday, Sept 17. He lived south of town about 4 miles with his son Jolly Burns. Mr. Burns was born in Jefferson county, Miss. March 2, 1862. He came to Oklahoma, April 15, 1906 with his family. He was a retired minister of the Church of God. He survived by his wife and13 sons and one daughter, three brothers, 48 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist church in Tuttle with Rev. F. F. Lacquement of Prague and Rev. John Lomax and Rev. Tom Yell assisting. Burial will be at Palestine, Oklahoma.

RITES SUNDAY FOR MRS. BURNS
Minco---Mrs. Alice A. Burns, 86, a longtime resident of Pocasset and Verden communities died Tuesday in a Chickasha nursing home. She was born Feb. 20th, 1872 in Montgomery County, Ark. Her husband William D. Burns died in 1946. He was a retired farmer. Funeral will be at 2:30 pm Sunday in the Church of God at Quinton. The body will lie state at Reynolds Funeral Home until Sunday morning. Survivors are 13 sons, James Henry of Seminole, Willie B. and Dennis of Wetumka, Guiford of Quinton, Barney and Elmer of Stockton, Calif., Bobby of Shafter, Calif., Jesse of Quail,Texas, Jolly of Verden, Lawson of Bakersfield, Ca., Talley of Pocasset, Jeff of Phoenix, and Leonard of Cement, and one daughter Mrs. Lonnie Daniels of Shafter, Calif. Interment will be in Palestine Cemetery near Quinton under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Home.
