Patricia Buck, 92, of Canadian, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at McAlester Regional Health Center. She was born on April 5, 1929 in Canadian, Oklahoma to Orlando and Estella (Moody) George. She graduated from Canadian High School and later as an adult she took some courses at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, Oklahoma. She worked for McAlester General Hospital, was a receptionist for Dr. Harkins, National Bank of McAlester, Chaney Funeral Home and retired from the Oklahoma Job Services in 1991. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in Canadian and was secretary/treasurer for almost 60 years. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Andy Shoaf of Yukon, OK; son and daughter-in-law, Darell and Diana Buck of McAlester, OK; brother and sister-in-law, David and Iva George of Canadian, OK; 6 grandchildren and spouses, Shane and Danielle Shoaf of Houston, TX, Zane and Andrea Shoaf of Yukon, OK, Caleb and Renee Shoaf of Yukon, OK, Lanna and Phillip Ward of Yukon, OK, Dena and Howard Ditzler of Muskogee, OK, David and Amber Buck of McAlester, OK; 17 great-grandchildren, Oscar, Nyla, Oliver and Agnes Shoaf, Lily, Riley and Corbyn Shoaf, Kendall and Lincoln Shoaf, Dawson, Oden and Nolan Ward, Katelynn Ditzler, Chase and Aubrey Williams, Kialee Hill and Jon Buck; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orlando and Estella George; sister, JoAnn Austin; brothers, S.W. "Dub" George and Avin George; and the love of her life, Gene Guinn. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Canadian with Rev. Rodney Karch officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery near Quinton, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Shane Shoaf, Dena Ditzler, Zane Shoaf, Caleb Shoaf, Lanna Ward and David Buck.
