Arthur Franklin "Frank" Tedrick, 76, of McAlester, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at his home. Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester. Committal services will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with Military honors provided by the Robert B. Thomas VFW Post #1098. Frank was born on October 29, 1948 in Kiowa, Oklahoma to Leo Douglas Tedrick, Sr. and Bertie Louise (Rogers) Tedrick. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 until 1968 during the Vietnam War in Korea. He was a lifelong resident of McAlester and a retired plumber. He enjoyed singing, fishing, flying airplanes and was a member of the Robert B. Thomas VFW Post #1098. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Shari Lynn (Tedrick) Stinnett of Eufaula, OK, Conner Tedrick of McAlester, OK, Chelsea and Klay Fairfield of Ft. Smith, AR, and Stephen Kem Lay of Oklahoma; four grandchildren and their spouses, Trent and Kirsten Fry of Eufaula, OK, Brittany and Ben Shaver of Eufaula, OK, Kanaan Fairfield of Ft. Smith, AR, and Paisley Jane Tedrick of McAlester, OK; three great-grandchildren, Traven Fry, Sophia Shaver and Sawyer Shaver, all of Eufaula, OK; brothers, Leo Douglas Tedrick, Jr. of Kalama, WA, Tommy Tedrick of Longtown, OK, and Larry Tedrick of Vancouver, WA; sisters, Brenda Dominic of McAlester, OK, and Nancy Blackwood of Marietta, OK; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Douglas Tedrick, Sr. and Bertie Louise Tedrick; and one brother, Carl Tedrick.
