Betty Joan Roller was born on October 12, 1939 and died peacefully on December 6, 2023 in her sleep with her brother, Andrew by her side. Betty had seven children, 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Smith officiating. The burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bob Horton, Brent Horton, Doug Roller, Daniel Tucker, Bradley Horton, and John Watson. Honorary pallbearers Jayden Horton, Drew Cunningham, and Brian Cunningham. Family was very important to Betty. Her Hobbies included gardening, canning, cooking, fishing, playing bingo, going to the casino and shopping. She especially enjoyed spending time with her sister, Linda Brown. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clyde Roller; her parents: Andrew Smith and Juanita Smith; her sisters: Elsie Mae Lizik, Janice Calvert, and Rose Brodhacker; her brother, Tommy Smith; nephew, Jim Bob Smith; niece, Carmelita Calvert; son-in-law, Ed Stannard; and great grandson, Ayden Hall. Betty is survived by her sons: Rex Roller and his wife Pam of Florida, Douglas Roller and his wife Lisa of Oklahoma, Jimmy Watkins and his wife Darla of Oklahoma, Robert Dale Watson and his wife Darlene of Virginia, John Watson and his wife Georgeann of Florida, and Randy Watson and his wife Pam of North Carolina; her daughter, Tammy Stannard of North Carolina; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; her devoted sister: Linda Brown of McAlester; her brother: Andrew Smith and wife, Rita wife of McAlester; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. We now have a new angel in heaven watching over us. Rest in peace.
