Glenna M. (Addy) Moore Aug. 11, 1914 ~ Aug. 19, 2003 Glenna M. Moore, 89, of McAlester, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at McAlester Regional Health Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Dr. Randall Adams officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester. Born Aug. 11, 1914, in Wapanucka (Johnston County), she was the daughter of Jess L. and Nancy Kenion Addy. She graduated from Wapanucka High School in the Class of 1933. She married Albert Moore on May 9, 1934, in Wapanucka and they moved to McAlester, where she worked as a partner with her husband in Moore's Pharmacy and later in the Plaza Hearing Aid Shop until retirement. She was a longtime member of the McAlester First Baptist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Carolyn Moore, Bethesda, MD and a grandson, Sean Moore, Idaho Springs, Colorado. Pallbearers will be J.C. Williams, Claude Stokes, Clyde Stokes, Gene Weeks, Jerry Pool and Jim Miller. Honorary pallbearer will be Eldred Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Albert, on Nov. 26, 1990.
