Wayne M. Migdat, 75, of McAlester, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Wayne was born on November 16, 1947 to Walter and Wanda (McDaniel) Migdat. He attended McAlester High School, graduating in 1966 and serving as Senior Class President. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University as a Registered Pharmacist (RPH,) later conferred to a Dr. of Pharmacy (DPH.) He served in the Oklahoma National Guard from 1971 to 1977 with a rank of Sergeant. On July 17, 1971 he married Sally Bailey and they made their home in McAlester. He served as a Pharmacist in McAlester and the surrounding medical communities for 42 years. He was a faithful member of Victory Park Baptist Church. He enjoyed the fellowship of his fellow Optimists. Wayne loved the Lord, his family, his community, his country, and the OU Sooners. He was an avid football fan. Survivors include his wife, Sally Migdat of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Clint and Michelle Migdat of Bixby, OK, and Roger Migdat of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Jordyn Migdat and Chase Migdat; brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Carol Migdat of Keller, TX. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Wanda Migdat. Family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8th at Victory Park Baptist Church with Rev. Jody Domingue officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester.
