Harrison Stanford Mantooth, Sr. went home to be with his Savior on Friday, November 19, 2021. A family visitation will be held between 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Bishop Funeral Service at 110 S 3rd St., McAlester, OK 74501. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. George Mantooth and Rev. Dennis Mantooth. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery located at 1300 E Washington Ave, McAlester, OK 74501. Pallbearers will be Bryan Mantooth, Ben James, Tim Kelley, Warren Summy, Blake Summy, and Daniel Ramirez. Harrison was born to Hillard Steven and Jessie Mae (Russell) Mantooth on February 2, 1923 in Melissa, Texas. He was a long-time member of Greater Refuge Pentecostal Church in Quinton, Oklahoma. He served the Lord faithfully for over 70 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years: Betty M. Mantooth; brothers: Arthur Mantooth, Tom Mantooth, Dan Mantooth, Don Mantooth, Harold Mantooth; and sisters: Aseline Gaylor and Barbara James. Harrison is survived by his wife: Ellan Mantooth, children: Donna Kapple, Harrison Stanford Mantooth, Jr. (Sandy), Linda Solomon (David), Shirley Bault, Dennis Mantooth (Colleen), Karen Stinnett (James), Traci Kelley, Walter Kelley; stepchildren: Wendy Boswell and Daniel Boswell (Kathy); 25 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; his brother: Lee Mantooth (Beverly) of Eufaula; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
