Mavis Jean Hoover-Rice was born on March 9, 2026, daughter of Nolan Rice and Lillyanna Jean Hoover, and passed away on March 18, 2026 in Tulsa.
Mavis is survived by her parents; grandparents, Jimmy Joe Ryan, Jennifer Ann Kindrick, and Jesse Darell Kindrick; and aunt, Charlotte Skaggs; and several other younger aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gloria Jean Hoover.
A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, March 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester.
