Harold Franklin "Jack" Cambron, 90-year-old Claremore resident, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at his home. He was born on February 10, 1935, at the Albert Pike Hospital in McAlester, to Harold Jackson Cambron and Clara Mae (Arndt) Cambron. Jack grew up in McAlester and graduated high school and three years of technical school. He served his country bravely in the United States Army and the United States Navy for many years. He was a member of the DAV and AMVET of Claremore. Jack had Cambron’s Plumbing company for many years. He was very handy with building things and construction work. Jack followed Les Feldick ministries and his teaching for many years. Jack enjoyed taking walks, watching sports especially baseball and was once a member of the North Town Loafers baseball team in McAlester. Jack’s family and friends will remember him for his story telling abilities. He was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children, Sue Cambron-Parks, daughter, Cheryl Pointer, granddaughters, Asiah Allen and Megan Pointer. The family includes his children, Kelly Skaggs of Forney, Texas, Julie Dawn Allen (Willis) of McAlester, step children, Autumn, Alicia, and Andrea, his sister, Billie Jean Earhart of McAlester, grandchildren, Nate Pointer, Jonathan Skaggs, Evan Lee, Rachel McLaughlin, Chasen Cambron, Lara Allen, step grandchildren, Chandler, Reed, and Daxton, great-grandchildren, Kingston, Eli, Roman, Cheyenne, Jaycee, Payton, Keagan, CJ, and Levi, his special friend, Jo Ann Taylor and his former wife, Alice Cambron, numerous other relatives and friends. The graveside service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester. Arrangements are in care of Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care of Pryor.
