Vera Lucille Nalley of Kiowa died Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the McAlester Regional Health Center at the age of 79. Vera was born January 21, 1939 in Kiowa, Oklahoma to Chester A. Johnson and Emma Lou (Scroggins) Johnson. She married Tommy Nalley in 1955. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her brothers, Chester Johnson and wife, Lonnie of Wardville, Troy Johnson of Wardville, Andy Johnson and wife, Juanita of Kiowa and William Johnson and wife, Demett of Blanco. Children, Thomas Nalley of Blanco, Kenny Nalley of Pittsburg, Alfred Nalley of Kiowa and Judy Nalley of Kiowa; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and, numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy; parents, Emma Lou and Chester; and, a sister, Stella Hampton. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Pittsburg Cemetery, Pittsburg, Oklahoma with Jim Ray officiating. Pallbearers will be Jesse Durant, John Ellis, Danny Ellis, Donnie Ellis, Jim Sullivan and Joe Sullivan.
