Harold Hackler, Jr., 58, of McAlester, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at his home. He was born on August 24, 1963 in Amarillo, Texas to Harold, Sr. and Barbara Ann (Westbrook) Hackler. At the age of 6 he moved from Amarillo, Texas to McAlester and attended school in McAlester. He started OK Tire in 1994 and was a member of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association. He married Pam Price on January 17, 2022 in McAlester. Survivors include his wife, Pam of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Dillon and Marilee Hackler; daughter and son-in-law, Carly and Jacob Padilla; three granddaughters, Hunter Hackler, Heidi Hackler and Max Padilla; one grandson, Archer Padilla; sister, Brenda Kelley; brother-in-law, Frankie Fields; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Robin Hackler of McAlester, Randy and Donna Hackler of Arpelar, OK and Ronnie and Leandra Hackler of Tannehill, OK; aunt Faye Hackler of Krum, TX; brother-in-law and spouse, Jeff and Jennifer Simpson; in-laws, Gwendolyn and Vic Rice; two uncles, Lee Westbrook of Krebs, OK and Bobby Westbrook of Tulsa, OK; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Hackler and Barbara Barnett; grandparents, Earl and Ruby Westbrook, Ray Hackler, Noah and Vona Dobbs. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the McAlester Expo with Pastor Mitch Arteberry officiating. Burial will follow at Blanco Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Robert Hackler, Ronnie Hackler, Randy Hackler, Ricky Corder, Johnny Coreen and Jared Blansett. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Brewer, Jimmy Tomlinson, Mike Yancey, Darrell Clifton, Jimmy Gammons, Brad Padgett, Terry Harrison, Lindsey Grant, Jacob Padilla, Seth Kelley, Cameron Fields and the Heartland Hospice Staff.
