Tommy Van Ellis, 51, of Blanco, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at his home.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home in McAlester.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Chaney Harkins Funeral Home with Mr. Terry Ray officiating. The burial will follow at Blanco Cemetery, Blanco, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be David Ellis, Billy Ellis, Sammy Ellis, Jeff Lewis, Scott Tinsley, Jimmy Ellis, and Joseph Bond. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Ellis, Freddie Edwards, Mary Ellis, and Maverick Danley.
Tommy was born on December 27, 1969 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Tommy Lee Ellis and Betty Jo (Lewis) Ellis. He married Janie Anderson.
Tommy graduated from Pittsburg High School with the Class of 1988. He worked at Franklin Electric for the last 9 years.
He is survived by his wife: Janie Ellis of the home; his mother: Betty Ellis of Blanco; his children: Ashley Danley and husband, Maverick of Blanco, Lisa Bond and husband, Joseph of Tulsa, Tina Ellis of Blanco, Brittani Ellis of Blanco, and Tommy Josiah Ellis of Blanco; his grandchildren: Kamreigh, Kasen, Isabella, Preston, and Levi; his siblings: Billy Ellis of Blanco, Martha Greer of Bache, David Ellis and wife, Carla of McAlester, Shirley Boling of Blanco, and Sammy Ellis and wife, Shelly of Blanco; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Tommy is preceded in death by his father: Tommy Ellis.
