She was the daughter of John L. and Lessie McFarland Cargill. As an infant, her family moved to Haywood, where she spent her early years going to school and graduating from Haywood High School in 1958. After high school, she attended Capitol Hill Business School in Oklahoma City and settled in the area where she spent the remainder of her life. She worked as a bookkeeper for several years until she became a full time mother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, bowling and going to church. She passed away at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Jennifer Mundinger, Warrensburg, Mo.; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Miles Wise, Calhoun, Ga., and Jana and Chris Davis, of Mustang. Also, grandchildren, Jasmine Mundinger, Warrensburg, Mo., J.C. Mundinger, Warrensburg, Mo., Kirk Wise, Calhoun, Ga., Jacob Wise, Calhoun, Ga., Micah Davis, of Mustang, Hunter Davis, of Mustang, and Chance Davis, of Mustang. And, two sisters, Evelyn Dunn, of McAlester, and Catherine Patterson, of McAlester; a brother, Harvey Cargill, Red Bluff, Calif., and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Lessie Cargill; four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Arpelar Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Pat Price officiating. Burial will be at Arpelar Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester. McAlester News Capital Sept. 18, 2009
