Willa Dean Colley, 88, of Stuart, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at McAlester Regional Health Center. Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from noon to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2021 at Friendship Nazarene Church with Reverend Bart Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Arpelar Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service & Crematory. Pallbearers will be Shawn Colley, Shane Colley, Tony Edwards, Jimmy Lenox, Coy Harrington, and Tom Lenox. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Dunn, Bobby Edwards, Mike Dunn, Kyle Allen, and Ben Staples. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Arpelar Cemetery. Willa Dean was born on March 3, 1933 in Stuart to George W. Dunn and Zella (Hawkins) Dunn. She graduated from Ashland High School with the Class of 1950. She married Dee W "Tub" Colley on January 15, 1951 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She retired from the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in 1983. She loved cooking for her family and making chewy chocolate cookies for the grandkids and great grandkids. Willa Dean was a member of the Friendship Nazarene Church. She enjoyed attending church, the Ward Springs Opry, shopping, and never missed her Friday morning hair appointment. She is preceded in death by her husband: Dee W. "Tub" Colley; her parents: George W. Dunn and Zella (Hawkins) Dunn; her brothers: Autrey, Aubrey, Vernon, and Jim Dunn; and her sisters: Hazel Lenox, Ruth Harrington, Irene Bennett, and Wilma Edwards. Willa Dean is survived by her sons: Glenn Colley of the home, Terry Colley of Oklahoma City, and Kent Colley of Ashland; her daughter-in-law: Carolyn Colley of Haywood; her grandchildren: Shawn Colley and wife, Heather of Haywood, Shane Colley of McAlester, Hanna Colley of Seminole, and Heather Colley of Oklahoma City; her great-grandchildren: Chance Colley, Loren Colley, Shooter Colley, Waylon Colley, Emerson Allen, and Kinslee Allen; and numerous other family members and friends.
