Ruby Fultz Harrison
September 17, 1934 ~ December 22, 2018


Ruby Harrison, 84, passed away December 22, 2018. Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Ruby was born September 17, 1934 to Ralph and Bessie Fultz at their home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her schooling began at Oak Grove Elementary and she later worked at the Stillwater Cafe and as a housekeeper for Oklahoma State University.

Unconditional love was her gift to all and she expressed that in many ways including lots of cooking and taking care of others. She passed peacefully.

She is survived by son, Ronald [Linda] Fultz; daughter, Feebie [Eddie] Cooksey and daughter-in-law Jackie Gates; siblings, Edgar Fultz, Reva Williamson and Darlene Torp. Ruby was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Alfred Fultz, Chester Fultz and Donald Fultz, sisters, Vie Stewart, Lela Bridges and Evelyn Hunt; sons, David Gates and Elvis Gates; daughters, Rose Cooksey and Loretta Cooksey; grandchildren, Gerald and Laura; great- grandchild, Marhyiah and great-great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Ebah.

Pallbearers will be Tim Cooksey, Chris Cooksey, David Harrell, Curtis Parmley Sr, Roy Parmley and Amanda Harrell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Parmley Jr, Kanon Harrell, Riely Witter, Jaxon Harrell, Roy Parmley Sr and Andrew Germann.
