Dent Stephens, 93, retired Buyer for Reda Pump, resident of Barnsdall, passed away Saturday morning at 4:45AM in Bartlesville. Graveside Services for Mr. Stephens will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday January 30, 2018 at the Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall, with Pastor Dake Shreffler officiating. Graveside Services and Interment are under the direction of the Stumpff-Barnsdall Funeral Home.

Mr. Stephens was born November 4, 1924 at Barnsdall Oklahoma to Sterling Price and Emily Rachel (Norris) Stephens. He was raised and received his education at Barnsdall Schools, graduating High School there. He was married to Lois Irene Stephens on January 2, 1950 at Claremore, Oklahoma. He had been employed TRW- Reda Pump as a Buyer until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports, and he was an avid OU fan.

Mr. Stephens is survived by his two sons Dennis Stephens and wife Sharon of Oologah, Oklahoma, Eddie Stephens and wife Tracy of Pryor, Oklahoma and by two daughters Debbie Gomez and husband Angelo of Bartlesville, and Dee Ann Highfield and husband Jeff of Barnsdall, and 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Irene Stephens on October 8, 2014, and by his parents and two sisters.
