Nancy Ann Smith, 77, resident of Barnsdall died at 1:00 A.M. on Sunday in Bartlesville.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Smith will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday July 29, 2015 at the Barnsdall First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Spencer and Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Memorial contribution may be made in her memory to the Journey Home 3406 S.E. Kentucky, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006.

Mrs. Smith was born to Willis S. and Bess (Harbor) Sullivan on January 23, 1938 at Pampa, Texas. She came to the Tallant and Barnsdall area as a young girl and was raised at Tallant, receiving her education in Barnsdall, graduating from Barnsdall High School in 1956. She was married to Floyd Frank "Pete " Smith on February 14, 1958 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and they made their home in Tulsa, for a short time until moving to Barnsdall in 1959. They later moved to Wichita, Kansas in 1966, as Mr. Smith was employed by Cities Service Gas Company, and they lived in several towns following his work, until he retired in 1992, and they moved to Pershing, Oklahoma, and then back to Barnsdall in 2005. They were very active members of the First Baptist Church in Barnsdall for many years. Her hobbies were Art, drawing, played the piano by ear, crocheting, sewing and reading. Mrs. Smith was a very loving, caring and generous person, who had a gentle spirit; and was a good wife and mother.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband Floyd Frank "Pete" Smith of the home in Barnsdall, three sons; David D and wife "Ciss" Smith of Hominy, Oklahoma, Douglas Floyd Smith and wife Tammy of Burden, Kansas, and Dwaine Smith of Barnsdall, by six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Willis S. and Bess Sullivan, by two sisters, and a daughter- in- law Susan Smith.
