Rebecca Wilson (Beal) Dean
Submitted by: Jo Aguirre

Rebecca Wilson Beal  was born January 21, 1849 in Indiana. Rebecca's mother's name according to the 1860 Census was Sara M. Beal, but it shows she was widowed and not sure of her father's name.

She married Carrie Dean and moved to Weir, Cherokee Co, Kansas.  Their daughter Sarah was born in Indiana, but the rest of the children were born in Weir.  The other children born to this union was William "Bill", Flora, Mary, Nehemiah "Nick", and James "Jim".

Carrie died in 1900 and is buried in Bird Cemetery in Weir.  Rebecca and all the children with the exception of Mary moved to NE Oklahoma to live.  Mary stayed in Weir, married and raised their family there.  Mary died in March 1920 and is buried in Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall, Osage Co OK.
