Norma "Angie" Wickliffe passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 2:14
a.m. surrounded by her loving family.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 5,
2013 at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery with Robert Lee officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Norma Angeline Wickliffe was born October 23, 1930 in Burbank, OK to
Ed and Nettie (Rogers) Buck. Norma was employed as a mail clerk for
Phillips Petroleum Co. from 1962-1985. She is the past President and
longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Dewey. Norma enjoyed
watching OU Sooner football, NY Yankees baseball and loved spending
time with her family.
Norma is survived by one daughter, Patti and husband Doug Childers
of Dewey. Three grandchildren; Cory Henton and wife Kristen, Toni
Crain and husband Chase Meade, Cole Crain and wife Amy along with
seven great grandchildren. Two sisters; Julia Anderson and Irene
Stager both of Nowata, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Norma was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Fiddler and
second husband, Ray Wickliffe, daughter, Marilyn Fiddler, son,
Claude Douglas Fiddler, her parents, numerous brothers and sisters.
