Yvonne O. Gibson Herell Trudgeon died peacefully on November 5, 2020 at the age of 89 years 2 months 23 days. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, November 13, 2020 at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service, Inc.

Yvonne was born August 13, 1931 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Raymond H. and Estelle (Bearden) Gibson, who went by Molly and Rudy. She was raised and attended school in Purcell. Yvonne married Harry “Whitey” Herell and were together many years before Whitey passed in March 1988. During those years she worked as a Realtor. On September 7, 1991, Yvonne married William “Bill” Trudgeon. The couple celebrated 26 years together before Bill passed in March 2018. She loved dancing with Bill at Friends, as well as shopping and visiting her friends at Dillard’s, BC Clark’s and Talbots.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, Molly and Rudy; her husband, Whitey Herell; her husband, Bill Trudgeon; her sons, Mike Herell and Keith Herell; her grandson, Cory Herell; her siblings, Norma Greene, DD Gibson and Harold Gibson.

Survivors include her daughters-in-law, Debbie Herell of Allen, Texas, Nora Herell of Grand Rapids, MN; her grandchildren, Jamie Herell of Edmond, Maggie Cannelis and husband, Jordan of Mansfield, TX, Tommie Herell and wife, Shawna of Norman; great-grandchildren, Paige, Lincoln Cory and Harper; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Cancer has affected many of Yvonne’s loved ones, so the family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to PanCan.org, 1500 Rosecrans Ave, Ste 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. A special thank you to all of the friends and neighbors that helped care for Yvonne.
