WILSON-LITTLE FUNERAL HOME
PURCELL-NEWCASTLE, MCCLAIN CO, OK

Ricky Richardson, age 31 of Purcell, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014. Ricky was born March 23, 1983 in Pauls Valley, the oldest of 3 children of Tina Rosetta Richardson. At an early age, the Richardson family moved to Purcell where Ricky attended school. Ricky spent the majority of this time with his grandmother, Leona, whom he was deeply fond of. Ricky loved football and was a standout football player for Purcell High School. After school, he dabbled in some odd jobs before settling on a career in construction. Most recently, with the help of family, he started RJR Construction. Ricky was a hard worker and a great provider for his family. For nearly 14 years, Ricky has shared his life with his best friend and true love, Angel Elkins. Together they raised two daughters, the apple of Ricky’s eye, Nicole and Kylie. This past year, he was proud to help as an assistant on Nicole’s Softball team, the Wayne Diamond Dawgs. Ricky and his girls planted a garden for the first time this year, and they were equally excited to care for and watch it mature. He was very proud of it. Ricky loved life, and especially life at the river. Whether mudding in his CJ Jeep or noodling, you would never find him happier. He was a wonderful husband and father and the best friend a person could have. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: An uncle, Jr. Richardson. Ricky leaves behind; His wife, Angel and his two girls, Nicole and Kylie of the home; His grandmother, Leona Richardson of Purcell; His mother, Tina Richardson of Purcell; Sister, Violet Richardson of Norman; Brother, Kerry Richardson of Purcell; His uncle, Delbert Richardson of Purcell and A host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
