Alexis "Alex" Munoz died November 17, 2019 in Lexington, Oklahoma at the age of 14 years 10 months 17 days.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Alex was born December 31, 2004 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Santiago Munoz and Maria Guadalupe "Lupe" Martinez. He was raised and attended school in Lexington, Oklahoma. Alex loved to spend time with his family. He was an avid video game player and YouTube watcher. Alex enjoyed working with his dad and fishing, He spent a lot of time in Children’s Hospital and loved the visits from the OU Football and Softball teams. Alex played in the Lexington School Band and enjoyed watching his sister, Joselyn, run for her cross country team. He was quiet, but loved life, his family, and God.
 

Alex is preceded in death by his grandfather, Zacarias Martinez Ciriaco; uncles, Humberto Martinez and Fransisco "Tio Pancho" Martinez; and his great grandfather, Melesio Fuentes.

Survivors include his parents Santiago Munoz and Maria Guadalupe "Lupe" Martinez; sister, Joselyn Munoz; brother Alan Munoz; and many other relatives and friends.
