Leo L. Mooney III, age 47 of Moore, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Leo, Tres to his family, was born September 17, 1973 in Ada, OK, the older of two children of Leo Jr. and Lynann (Franklin) Mooney. He was raised in Moore and attended school there. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Moore, where he grew up in his faith and was baptized. Leo first worked as a tower hand, stacking towers and installing cell antennas all over the continental United States. More recently, he worked in HVAC installing heat and air. Leo was the proud father of daughter, Yancee. He cherished his family time, and never missed an opportunity to be with them. Leo lived life to the fullest, loving the great outdoors, always looking for a new fishing hole, and he looked forward to each and every day. He was a wonderful father, son, big brother, uncle, nephew and a true friend. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Mooney Jr; stepfather, Pat Stone and grandparents, Vernon and Pat Franklin and Leo and Jeanice Mooney.

Leo is survived by his daughter, Yancee Duranko of Claysville, PA; his mother, Lynann Mooney of Moore; sister, Tamra Mooney of Norman; nephew, Checotah; niece, Daphne, and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Memorial Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Hillside Cemetery. Send online condolences @ www.wilsonlittle.com.
