Patricia Mitchell-Carr, age 95 of Purcell, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020. Patricia Pauline Schlaudt was born February 26, 1925 in Dallas, TX, the 3rd of 5 children born to Lee Schlaudt and Frances (Snelling) Schlaudt. She was raised in San Angelo, TX where she went to school. She moved to Norman in 1945 and it was here she met a young man named L.D. Mitchell. On June 15, 1946, Patricia and L.D. were united in marriage in Weatherford, TX. By 1959, they had settled in Purcell where together they raised their only son, Jack. For several years, Patricia worked at the Sheridan Hotel in Norman as an executive housekeeper. Her greatest joy, however was her family and she cherished being a wife and mother, and eventually a grandmother. Patricia enjoyed life and the little blessings each day brings. She enjoyed tending to her home and yard, and never missed a chance to go fishing. She will be dearly missed!

Graveside Services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Friday, September 25, 2020, at Hillside Cemetery. Send online condolences @ www.wilsonlittle.com.
