Phyllis Jean Miller died February 21, 2020 at her home in Norman at the age of 67 years 3 months 27 days.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Lance officiating.

Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Phyllis was born October 25, 1952 in Slaton, Texas to Rayburn and Francis L. (Edwards) Hodges. She was raised in Lexington, graduating in 1970. Phyllis worked in communications at Riverwind Casino for more the 20 years, retiring in 2017. She and Bryan Miller were married October 4, 2001 and made their home in the Goldsby area. Phyllis enjoyed fishing and playing bingo with Bryan, spending time with her family, especially her favorite daughter, Karissa and son, Chad. She loved singing in church with her siblings. Phyllis had a special place in her heart for her extended bonus family, going to El Chico’s, drinking Coca-cola, and her pup, Sadie Jean. Phyllis was a member of Memorial Assembly of God in Purcell.
 

Phyllis is preceded in death by her father, Rayburn Hodges; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Willie Edwards; paternal grandparents, J.H and Annie Jewel Hodges.

Survivors include her husband, Bryan Miller; mother, Francis L. Hodges; daughter, Karissa Larson and husband, Brad; son, Chad Reid; grandsons, Cameron Larson, Shane Reid; sisters, Vicki Hall, Lorenda Pitts; brothers, Royce Hodges, Michael Hodges; bonus family, Heather Barnes, Summer Buchanan, Brian Miller, Chad Miller, Brian Heath; and many other relatives and friends.
