Robert Leslie McGregor II, age 59 of Purcell, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 after a brief illness.

Robert was born November 3, 1957 in Purcell, OK. He was the oldest of three children born to Robert Leslie McGregor and Beverly Jean (Halsey) McGregor. Robert grew up in the Purcell and Wanette communities, graduating from Wanette High School with the class of 1976. While in high school he was active in FFA. On May 27, 1978 he married Deborah Kay Pritchett of Purcell. Together they made their home in Purcell and raised three daughters, Shannon, Stephanie and Leigh Ann. Robert had various jobs before going to work 20 years ago for Haskell Lemon Construction in Norman. He was currently the Plant Operator at the Norman Plant. Throughout his life, Robert had a love for fast cars. He was an avid NASCAR fan and in his spare time he enjoyed working on his own vehicles at home. While his children were growing up they enjoyed going fishing and camping at Lake Murray. Robert was an avid Oklahoma Sooner and Dallas Cowboy football fan and hardly ever missed a game on tv. He will be remembered as a family man and one who enjoyed telling stories to his kids and grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by: Father, Bob McGregor;

He is survived by: Wife, Debbie McGregor of the home in Purcell; Mother, Beverly McGregor of Purcell; Three daughters, Shannon Clark and husband Robbie of Purcell, Stephanie Sims and husband Zackary of Purcell, Leigh Ann McGregor of Purcell; One brother, Terry McGregor and wife Sally of Noble; One sister, Stacy Bugher and husband Brent of Lexington; Brother-in-law, Joe Pritchett and wife Nell of Purcell; Two grandchildren, Hunter Clark and Lyric Harding and one granddaughter on the way; one great granddaughter, Kiri Clark. Also several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
