James, “Jimmy” Andrew Jackson, age 54 of Purcell passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 13, 1961 in Purcell, Oklahoma, the 5th child of 6 children born to Otis Ray Jackson & Patricia Marie Hart Jackson. He grew up in Purcell where he graduated from Purcell High School in 1979. After graduation, he attended Murray State in Tishomingo. Over the years, Jimmy worked in the oilfield, mainly as a derrick hand. For the last 19 years, he has worked as a metal fabricator with his brother Danny, at DJ Trailers in Wayne. Jimmy loved the outdoors; he never missed an opportunity to go fishing and he loved fish fry’s with family and friends. Jimmy was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Purcell.

He is survived by: Parents: O.. & Pat Jackson of Wayne; 2 Brothers: Donald Jackson & wife Denise of Tulsa and Danny Jackson & wife Ginger of Wayne; 3 Sisters: Ellen Armstrong & husband John of Bonham, TX, Tricia Staggs & husband Jeff of Purcell and Karen Seiler & husband Paul of Broken Arrow Also numerous nieces & nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Send online condolences at wilsonlittle.com

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Stephenson Cancer Center, 800 N.E. 10th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73104.
