Died at her residence on Canadian avenue, Tuesday evening, March 14th, Mrs. Emma (Ella) R. Hyde, after a long illness with consumption.

The funeral took place Thursday morning at the residence, conducted by Rev. S.G. Fisher, the body being interred at Hillside Cemetery.

The lady had been but a few months a resident of Purcell and being an invalid made but few acquaintances, but won the hearts of all who met her by her patient gentleness and many other good qualities displayed.

She leaves two daughters to mourn her departure to the better land.
