Jeanetta Garman age 75 of Purcell, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, September 6, 2014 at her home. She was born on December 10, 1938 in Fairland, OK. She was the 5th child of six children born to Jessie Calvin Sutton and Delphia Oneida (Messimore) Sutton. Jeanetta grew up in Afton, Oklahoma and graduated from Afton High School with the class of 1956. That same year she married the love of her life, Bob Garman. They were married on December 14, 1956 in Sand Springs, OK. The following year their only son, Jim was born. Because of Bob’s work in the banking business, Jeanetta’s family moved several times throughout her life. They first made their home in Tulsa, later Altus for 10 years, Collinsville for 10 years, Muldrow 4 years, Claremore 4 years and lastly they moved to Purcell in 1983. Jeanetta worked as a homemaker most of her life, and also worked in banking for a number of years. While living in Altus she worked as a Proof Operator at the National Bank of Commerce for five years. During her lifetime Jeanetta found great pleasure in crocheting, listening to country western music, writing poetry, babysitting grandchildren and going to the lake. She also enjoyed spending time on her computer and posting on her Christian web page. Jeanetta was a faithful Christian and was a member of the Purcell First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: Parents, Jessie and Delphia Sutton; Two sisters, Vonnie Peterman and Ann Adams;

She is survived by: Husband, Bob Garman of the home; One son, Jim Garman and wife Marilyn of Edmond; Two grandchildren, Jason Garman and wife Lori of Edmond, OK, Sabrina Covey and husband Craig of OKC; One great grandchild, Aria Garman. One sister, Jean Brown and husband Dan of Georgia; Two brothers, Jerry Sutton and wife Winnie of Los Vegas, NV, Dean Sutton and wife Shirley of Owasso, OK; Also several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
