Nola Cypert age 95 of Purcell, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Wadley Care Center in Purcell.

She was born at home on May 19, 1917 near Purcell, OK. She was the oldest child of seven children. Her parents were Abner Frank Miller and Fannie Clyde (Berry) Miller.

Nola grew up in the Purcell area where she met the love of her life Lawnie Harrison Cypert. They were married on November 8, 1938 and remained living and working in Purcell throughout their lives. Together they raised four children, Richard, Glenna, Elaine and Connie. Nola worked hard as a mother and homemaker. She even worked outside the home at various jobs throughout her life to help provide for her family. For some time she had worked for Wright’s Laundromat in Purcell. Then for a number of years she was a cook for the Purcell Hospital and at Broadlawn Nursing Home. Nola enjoyed cooking and sewing for her children and family. She was a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren and she loved it when they would come visit her at her home.

She was preceded in death by:
Parents: Abner and Fannie Miller
Husband: Lawnie Cypert in 1998
Daughter: Glenna Andrews
Two sisters: Kenneth Sabastian and Juanita Gray
One brother: Stanley Miller

She is survived by:
Two daughters: Elaine Arnett and husband Ken of Lexington
Connie Henderson and husband Glenn of Purcell
Son: Richard Cypert and wife Margie of Sandwich, Ill.
Son-in-law: Kenneth Andrews of Washington, OK
Two brothers: Bob Miller of Lindsay, OK
Henry Miller and wife Maurene of Miss.
One sister: Agnes “Sug” Mullins of OKC
10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson
Several nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends

Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
