Leatrice Joy Brumfield passed from this life on 5/23/2020.

She was born 8/29/1927 to Ivor and Gracie Lockmiller. She married Russell, a WWII veteran, in 1944. They made their home on a farm outside Purcell, OK and had three daughters.   Leatrice was a woman of faith, and attended services at Lighthouse Worship Center. She was funny with a quick wit. She enjoyed decorating and made beautiful flower arrangements. She and Russ traveled extensively and visited all fifty states, and her handbag always matched her shoes.
 

Leatrice was preceded in death by: Parents Ivor and Gracie, Husband Russell and daughters Marqueta Vaughn, Rohna Calvert and Tammie Chada
 

Leatrice is survived by: Sisters, Velva Smith and Dorothy Methvin of Shawnee, OK   ;  Grandchildren, Brandon Vaughn of Purcell, OK; Kelly Calvert and husband Matthew McLure of Northfield, IL; Scott Calvert and wife Toni of Purcell, OK and J’Koa Chada of Guthrie, OK; Five great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
 

The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers at Westbrook Gardens, Sunset Estates, and Valir Hospice Care.
 

Graveside Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. This service will be live streamed on our Facebook page, Wilson Little.
