Lillian Lorene Janzen of Fairview relocated to heaven on February 18, 2024. Lillian was born on March 6, 1933 in Fairview, OK to Frank and Anna Wichert. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Eugene Janzen; sister Luella DeFehr, grandson Josh Yarrow, and granddaughter-in-law Xandra Morris. She is survived by siblings Eunice Isaak, Leonard (Janice) Wichert, Fran (Ron) Penner; children Lynette (Loren) Lucas, Susan Morris, Steven (Mary) Janzen, Ann (Jeff) Yarrow, Lois (Kazuhiro) Enomoto, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Lillian will be remembered for her smiles, laughs, pranks, friendly jabs, love of her husband and family, good times with friends, contentment, hardworking spirit, resourcefulness, positivity, love of camping, gardening, orderliness, amazing Mexican food, love of hymns, involvement in her church, fluency in 3 languages and her ability to "make" her family sing in all three whether they knew them or not, willingness to hop on a motorcycle to unknown places with Gene, and most of all her commitment to God and her faith in Jesus as her savior.
Visitation will be held at Pierce Funeral Home on Sunday, February 25, from 6:00 - 8: 00 p.m. Funeral service will be at the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 26, 2024 with Pastor Travis Schmidt officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Gene Janzen at the South Mennonite Brethren Cemetery. A memorial has been established with Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church Missions Fund.
