Kevin David Brewer was born January 29, 1964 at Mexico, Missouri to parents Loren and Doris (Turner) Brewer. He departed this life on March 30, 2026 at his home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Kevin was raised primarily at Arvada, Colorado, but before his senior year of high school he decided he wanted to attend Fairview High School where he thought it would be more personal than in a class of one thousand seniors. His mother couldn't believe anyone would want a 17 year old, but his aunt Joyce and uncle Merle Patzkowsky said he could stay with them. Kevin earned all-district honors that year playing for the Yellowjackets. Kevin accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized at Woodcrest Baptist Church in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Kevin worked for IBM in Boulder, Colorado for several years, and also worked at the Denver International Airport. When Loren transferred to Edmond, Oklahoma with Ralston Purina, Kevin sold his condo and came to Edmond and began selling vehicles which he enjoyed, as he never met a stranger.
Kevin was very competitive growing up, he loved his Sooners and could tell you all about the players, their history, and games and scores all the way back to the 1970's. He played baseball, basketball and football growing up and dreamed of playing in the big league. As kids with his cousins, they were always playing games at family gatherings, and as an adult he always supported and attended many football games of his younger cousins and encouraged them throughout the years. Kevin also enjoyed fishing at the Brewer Ranch but if you hadn't seen him in a while you knew it was going to be hard for him to be quiet while fishing because he liked to talk.
Kevin was preceded in death by his brother, Kerry Brewer; Survivors include his parents, Loren and Doris of Edmond, Oklahoma; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
