Henrietta Luna, 84, of Hollis, passed away July 22, 2017 at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis.

Henrietta was born February 17, 1933 in Robstown, Texas to Santiago and Apollonia “Luera” Rivera. On November 7, 1949 she married the love of her life Inez Luna in Clovis, New Mexico and they enjoyed over 49 years of marriage before Inez’s death in 1998. She was a Baptist all her life and a longtime member of the Hollis First Baptist Church. Henrietta enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, cooking for her family, and spending time with her family was always the joy in her life. Henrietta will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Luna was preceded in death by her husband Inez Luna; her parents, Santiago and Apollonia Luera Rivera; one son Jesus Luna; one daughter, Aurora Morales; two brothers, Miguel Rivera and Santiago Rivera, Jr.; three sisters, Rita Rivera, Maria Rivera, and Carmen Rivera; and four grandchildren, Gilbert Hernandez, Daniel Ray Luna, Sylvia Luna, and Victoria Lynn Jaramillo.

Henrietta is survived by five sons, David Luna and wife Diana of Altus, Daniel Luna of Hollis, Adam Luna and wife Sue of Hollis, Benjamin Luna and wife Keila of Hollis, and Miguel Luna of Idaho; four daughters, Beatrice Pantoja and husband Joe of Hollis, Henrietta Saavedra of Hollis, Sylvia Trujillo of Altus, and Sandra Aguilar of Hollis; two brothers, Israel Rivera and Veto Rivera; two sisters, Rebecca Rivera and Lucia Garcia; thirty-seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

The family will greet friends at visitation from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, July 24, 2017 at Harmon County Funeral Home in Hollis.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Hollis with Jared Motley presiding.

Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
