Revena Lou Johnson, age 74, passed away Monday morning, March 25, 2013, at her residence, in Hollis, Oklahoma.
 
Mrs. Johnson was born on October 3, 1938, in Hollis, Oklahoma to William John and Katherene (Baccus) Easter. Revena grew up and went to school in Hollis. In 1955, she married the love of her life, Fritz Johnson, and they spent many wonderful years together until his death in August of 1998. They owned and operated the McQueen Store from 1965 till 1969. In 1982, Revena began working at the Harmon Memorial Hospital in dietary and in 1990 she returned to school and became a certified dietary manager, she continued working, as the dietary supervisor, until her retirement in 2005. Revena was a faithful member of the Faith Baptist Church, in her free time she enjoyed reading the Bible, cooking, playing cards and taking care of her family.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one child, Jackie Johnson and seven siblings.

She is survived by four daughters, Pennie Adams of Childress, Texas, Judy Johnson of Childress, Texas, Chris McRee and husband Shannon of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Wendy Perkins and husband Eddie of Hollis; seven grandchildren, Nikki Meacham and husband Blake of Childress, Texas, Kassi Adams of Childress, Texas, Dustin Perkins of Hollis, William Perkins of Hollis, Misty Turner of Oklahoma City, Dylan Perkins of Hollis and Venessa Perkins of Hollis; two great-grandchildren, Harlie and Thor Meacham of Childress, Texas; one sister, Margie Barnett of Tucumcari, New Mexico; special friends, Kenny and Melissa woods and Ruthie Matheson along with many other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Revena Johnson will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Faith Baptist Church in Hollis with Reverend Larry Argo and Jimmy Easter officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.

The family will greet friends at Harmon County Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 4 until 5 p.m.
