Betty Joan Hay, loving daughter, sister and aunt, went home on March 9, 2015 at Harmon County Memorial Hospital, in Hollis.

Betty was born on April 10, 1929, to Lillian Versie Treadway Hay and Garrell Arrington Hay. She was the first child in a family of eight children. Betty attended Westview School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hollis. She loved playing dominoes and joking with her many friends at Colonial Manor Nursing Home.

Survivors include a sister, Twylla Buchanan of Amarillo, Texas and two brothers, Gene Hay of Perryton, Texas and J.H. Hay and wife Kay of Liberal, Kansas. Family preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, Orville Hay and Donald Hay; two sisters, Arvella Warren and Darlene Crisler.

Betty was dearly loved by all those who knew her. She loved doing word puzzles during her spare time and was known as a domino diva.

Graveside services for Betty Hay will be at 1 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2015, at Fairmount Cemetery with Pastor Chris Carlisle officiating. Services are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis.
