Chy’neQua MarShirl Campbell, age 25, of Hollis, passed away
early Thursday morning, December 25, 2014, at her residence, in
Hollis.
Chy’neQua was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on January 8, 1989, to
Lorenzo James McKnight and Demetria Michelle Campbell. Beginning
school in Ft. Worth she moved to Hollis at the age of six where
she attended school and moved to Oklahoma City in 2001. While
there she attended Mayfield Middle School, Putman City West and
the Academy of Alternative Education. In 2005, Chy’neQua moved
back to Hollis where she worked at Colonial Manor II and Dixie
One Stop. On September 5, 2013, she married Juan Ledesma. In her
spare time, she enjoyed reading, singing and spending time with
her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe Ed. Campbell.
She is
survived by her husband, Juan Ledesma of Amarillo, Texas; her
mother, Demetria Campbell of Hollis; her father, Lorenzo James
McKnight; four children, ChaNya Campbell of Hollis, Asiah Peavy
of Houston, Milagro Campbell of Hollis and Malaiah Campbell of
Hollis; one sister, Jamesha Scott of Ft. Worth, Texas; three
brothers, Chanod Campbell of Altus, Ladarious Scott of Ft.
Worth, Texas and Raedon McKnight of Ft. Worth, Texas; her
grandfather, Lorenzo Phillips of Ft. Worth, Texas; two
grandmothers, Shirl Campbell of Hollis and Erma Robinson and
husband Johnny of Ft. Worth along with many other relatives and
friends.
Funeral services for Chy’neQua MarShirl Campbell will be at 10
a.m., Monday, December 29, 2014, at Calvary Community Church
with Pastor Tyrone Campbell officiating. Interment will follow
at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Harmon County
Funeral Home of Hollis.
