July 10, 1940 - December 31, 2020

Antonio (Tony) Solorio, resident of Ponca City, died Thursday December 31, 2020 at Alliance Health in Ponca City. He was 80.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St Marys Catholic Church with the Rev Zachary Boazman, officiant. A Vigil service will be held 6 pm Friday January 8, 2021 at St Marys Catholic Church with Deacon Dick Robinson presiding. Burial will follow Mass at the St. Anthony's Cemetery at Medford, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Antonio was born on July 10, 1940 in Medford, OK to Frank Solorio Jr. and Inosencia (Mora) Solorio. He graduated from Medford High School in 1960. He attended Barber School and was a self employed Barber for 55 years. He married Judy Davis on July 4, 1987 and blended their families. Children Tim and Luann Davis of Bristow, Roy, Frank and Tina one sister Louise Fisher and her husband Dean of Woodward.

He loved to fish, gardening and ride his scooter to visit neighbors and tinker with things in his workshop. He was an avid OU fan and loved watching football games on TV.

Antonio is survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jessie Solorio, sister Juanita and Margie Solorio and one son Roy McCormick. .

Casket bearers will be Tim Davis, Dusty Davis, Dennis Yurchenko, Tanner Shoemaker, and Nathan Walker.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Marys Catholic Church, 415 S. 7th St. Ponca City, OK 74601.
