Judy Karen Jones November 4, 1947 ~ March 12, 2023 (age 75)
Surrounded by her family, Judy Karen Jones passed away peacefully in Medford, Oklahoma, on March 12, 2023 at the age of 75. Preceded in death by her parents, Gurney and Mary Jones, Judy is survived by her brother, Glenneth Jones and his wife, Mary; sister, Paula Smith and her husband, Joe; sister, Shelley Fredrick and her husband, Craig; nephews, Darin Jones and Kelly Jones, and niece, Megan Roberts; aunt, Dorothy Osborn; many cousins, great nephews and great nieces, and countless friends.
Judy was born on November 4, 1947, in Wellington, Texas to Gurney and Mary Trammell Jones. The family moved to Medford in 1953 when Judy was a young girl. She attended Medford Public Schools, graduating in 1966 and attended Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1969. Judy married her high school sweetheart, William C. Blubaugh in 1969, and they lived in Kansas City, Missouri, and later Enid. In 1992, Judy moved to Oklahoma City and worked in the dental industry until her retirement in 2014.
A private family service will be held with burial at Medford Rosemound Cemetery. Friends are welcome to share their memories of Judy in the guest book at Lanman Funeral Home in Medford.
