Eddie Wayne Ward passed away peacefully from this earth on August 13, 2022, at the age of 61, after a five-year long battle with cancer. A man well-known for his unconditional love for his family and great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by so many.

Eddie was born in Enid, Oklahoma, to Frank and Betty Ward. He graduated from Pond Creek-Hunter High School in 1978 and, shortly after, he married the love of his life, Cheri (Terry). Together the two of them raised four beautiful children. Family was the most important part of life to him. He enjoyed playing with his grandkids, big family dinners, playing volleyball in the park, and watching the Oklahoma Sooners. Eddie dedicated over 40 years of his life to doing what he loved, working in the oil and gas industry.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheri Ward; three daughters: Cassidy DuBois and husband Marc, Elizabeth Hagan and husband Eric, Tabitha Pannone and husband Alex; one son: Eric Ward; five grandsons: Trevor DuBois, Damien Rainey, Tyson Hagan, Jaxon Jonas, and Emerson Ward; three granddaughters: Olivia Pannone, Elena Ward, and Liliana Pannone; two sisters: Linda Campbell of Hanna, OK, and Julie Ward of Wichita, KS; three brothers: Rodney Ward of Pond Creek, Ronnie Ward of Oklahoma City, and Willy Ward of Enid. Preceding him in death were his mother and father, Frank and Betty Ward.

Memorial contributions in Eddie's name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
