John David Rex March 16, 2023 John David Rex, 69 - of Enid entered into Heaven on the morning of March 16th 2023. A causal-wear celebration of life service is planned for Tuesday the 21st of March at 2 pm at Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Pond Creek Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. He was welcomed into the world by his parents Orville and Colleen Rex on July 5, 1953. He attended Pond Creek High School and graduated in 1971. He worked for George E Failings where he retired after 35 1/2 years. John married the love of his life Verna Chartier Rex on March 21st 1993. He is survived by his wife of the home, his children Joe Hall and wife Kim, Jamie Rex, Mandy Hall and fiance Allen Threatt IV, Amy Hall and fiance Shawn Willson, Amber Dickson and husband Lonnie. His grandchildren Ryan Hall and wife Kimmy, Emily Kanaly and husband Tyler, Sam Hall, Shania Bergeron and wife Megan, Veronica Pardo and fiance Arthur Daniels Jr, Jossie Hall and fiance Thomas Lewis, Sarah Travis, C.J Travis, Danny Honn, Adaline Honn, Kade David Honn, Malik Dickson, Mackell Dickson. His great grandchildren Kensley Lewis, Henry Hall, Issac Bergeron, Patrick Kelly Jr., Layla Saunsoci. His siblings Kevin Rex, Robin Steele and husband Paul, and Lori Rex. He has several nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents, his father and mother in law Cecil and Faye Chartier, and his grandson Taylor Rex.
