Helen Mae Osborn, 79, of Pond Creek passed away on June 2,2020, at the Community Health Center in Wakita.

Helen was born in Ellicott City, MD, on September 6th, 1940, to James and Georgia Phelps. Helen was raised in Ellicott City, MD. She graduated from Howard High School in 1958. Helen married Lyle Gene Osborn on September 29, 1962, in Ellicott City, MD. Lyle was in the Army, so they lived in several places before settling down in Pond Creek, OK. in 1981. Helen enjoyed spending time with family and making sure everyone was fed good. She especially loved spending time with the grandkids and great-grandkids.

Helen is survived by her husband Lyle Osborn; two daughters, Julia Lee, Kim Jantz and husband Larry; grandchildren, Kayla Monroe and husband Thomas, Kristin Songer and husband Abe, Cole Jantz, Amanda McDonald and husband Chris, Kylie Gholson, Bradon Lee. 8 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Phelps Becker and husband George, Carol Phelps Tignor and husband Bill. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James H. Phelps.

There will be a visitation 5-7 P.M. Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 8, 2020, at Nash Christian Church officiated by Pastor Matt Watkins. Interment to follow in Pond Creek Cemetery. Memorials to Nash Christian Church or Nash Volunteer Firefighters Association.
