ENID — Funeral service for Deloris Jean McCart will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, at United Methodist Church, Pond Creek, with
Rev. Kay Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in Pond Creek Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

Deloris Jean McDaniel was born Nov. 3, 1930, in Jet, Okla., to Orville M. McDaniel and Jewel Waggoner McDaniel and died Monday, June 4, 2012, at Highland Park Manor.

Deloris graduated from Jet High School in 1948.

She was a member of Jet Chapter of Rainbow for Girls, serving as Worthy Adviser.

As an accomplished vocalist, Deloris was always willing to share her talent by singing at local events.

Deloris and Earl Lee McCart were married March 18, 1950, in Enid. They lived and farmed in the Pond Creek area.

She was a member of Child Study Club and Rose Circle Home Demonstration Club. A member of United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and was active with
United Methodist Women.

Deloris enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center to exercise, have lunch and visit with her friends
.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee, her parents and three brothers, Victor, Lyle and Dale McDaniel.

Surviving are her brother, Don McDaniel of Borger, Texas; daughters, Cathy Voss of Derby, Kan., and Terry McCart of Dallas, Texas; son, Dean McCart and wife Ora of
Pond Creek; grandchildren, Lindsay Voss and husband Scott Imel, Jake Voss and wife Ashley, Kristin and Scott Stoughton and Eric McCart; and great-granddaughter, Claire Voss.

Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church or Pond Creek Senior Citizens Center.
