Wynona Mae Jinkens (Shaw), 87, was called home by her heavenly Father on Friday, December 24, 2021. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Wynona was born to Dewey and Bessie (Downs) Moody on January 24, 1934, in Washunga, OK. Wynona married John Shaw and together they raised 9 children.

Wynona worked in the health care profession most of her life. She loved the outdoors and all her animals, especially her chickens. In her earlier years Wynona was an avid equestrian. She enjoyed breaking and training horses. One of her biggest accomplishments was winning the Western Pleasure division in Gainesville, Tx.

Wynona is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Bessie Moody, one brother Cecil Moody, two sisters, Frances Whitaker and Lucy Brewer, and a daughter, Deborah Holden and son- in- law John Holden.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia Hopkins, Aileen Easter and husband Rick, 6 sons, Billy Winkelman, Patrick Winkelman and wife Diane, Jerry Winkelman, Terry Winkelman, Robert Shaw and wife Melody, and Johnny Shaw, siblings Grace Cook, Edward Moody and wife Alice, Margaret Hubler, Iola Lanius, Dorthy Shaw and husband Carrol. 22 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren, and 28 Great-Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews who she loved all dearly.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, Pond Creek, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at the Pond Creek Cemetery. There will be a viewing at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK on Thursday, December 30, from 2:00 P.M. 6:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be grandsons John Holden, David Holden, Chris Holden, Alan Holden, Andy Holden, and Gabe Shaw. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Justin Winkelman, Dale Decker, Curtis Ingmire, Jacob Shaw, Kaden Shaw, and Levi Winkelman.
