August 02, 1946 - August 15, 2017.

Linda Herod (Galaway) was born on 8/2/1946 in Perry Oklahoma and passed peacefully at home on 8/15/ 2017 at 71 years old.

She was preceded on death by her parents Phil and Lawanna Galaway of Pond Creek.

She is survived by her husband Wayne Herod; children: Greg Schmitz (Dallas); Deborah Schmitz (Wisconsin); Chris and Robin Herod (Medford); Sherrie and Billy Longnecker (Guthrie) and Shawn Herod (Guthrie): 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Mass of Christian burial will be held a 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 19, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pond Creek with Father Carl Janocha officiating.

Burial to follow at Pond Creek Cemetery.

Memorials to the Pond Creek Fire Department. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK.
