ENID, OK — Funeral service for Donna Jean Hammer, 83, is 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Wilson Funeral Chapel, Pond Creek, with the Rev. Les Washnock officiating. Interment in Pond Creek Cemetery.

Donna Jean Hammer was born Oct. 15, 1930, to Ralph Walton and Ida Mae Scott Conway in Jefferson, Okla. She died March 3, 2014, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla.

She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1948.

She was invoved in farming. She owned a motel business in San Antonio, Texas.

Donna Jean enjoyed wintering in Texas and traveling to Branson, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Marta Robertson and Joyse Soligo; and husband Alden Hammer.

Donna Jean is survived by her son, Dr. Michael Robertson and wife Marcene, Eagle River, Alaska; brothers, Curtis Conway and wife Patty, Jenks, and David Conway and wife Jacque, Jenks; sister, Bonnie Woolard, Boise, Idaho; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
