Memorial service for Darla Sue Fore, 66, will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Medford, with the Rev. Bob Smith officiating. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

Darla was born to Gerald E. and Ruby Ellen Reed Fore on Nov. 9, 1947, in Enid, Okla., and died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Enid.

She graduated in 1966 from Medford High School. She attended Northwestern University in Alva, Okla., and graduated in the spring of 1971.

Later, she went to work for Youth and Family Services in Enid. Afterwards, she worked for NORCE as a case manager.

She was an avid collector of dolls. She loved her animals.

Darla loved her nieces and nephews and was dedicated to her job and loved her clients.

She was a member of United Methodist Church in Medford.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one greatniece and nephew.

She is survived by sisters, Charlotte and Cecil Hoar, Pond Creek, Cathy and Don Tallent, Noble, Judy and Delbert Taber, Purcell, and Pat and RW Postlewaite, Sulphur, La.; brother, Jerry and Michelle Fore, Cushing; dear friends, Linda Jordan, Alice Smrcka, Lois Herak and Steve Conrady; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Pond Creek Cemetery Association or the charity of donor’s choice.
