Richard Ross Dillon was born in Pond Creek on June 14, 1933, to Silas and Mary Dillon. Richard passed away on May 26, 2018.

Richard attended school in Pond Creek. After school, Richard did custom harvesting with his brother, Jesse. Richard married Pauline Webb on October 29, 1956. They made their home in Pond Creek. Richard was Superintendent of Electric and Water for the City of Pond Creek for 39 years.

Richard leaves behind three children, Randy Dillon, Mike and wife Kay Dillon, and Charlie Dillon all of Pond Creek. Five grandchildren, Tim Dillon of Pond Creek, Devon Dillon of Hunter, Ashley Dillon of Enid, and MacKenzie and Meghan Dillon of Pond Creek. Three great-grandchildren; Trent, Taylor and Kaylee Dillon of Pond Ceek. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Pauline Dillon; one grandson; and seven brothers and sisters, Marion, Jesse, Charles Mary, Alice, Emma and Mildred

Graveside service is 9:30 a.m. Thursday May 31, 2018, at the Pond Creek Cemetery with Dr. Richard Dunn officiating. Visitation is 6-7:00 p.m. today, May 30, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Pond Creek Cemetery Association or the Pond Creek Fire Dept.

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.
