ENID — Laurna Dee (Kirkpatrick) Bergman was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Rodley, Colo., to James and Bessie (Reed) Kirkpatrick. She passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012, in Enid, Okla.

Raised in Pond Creek, Okla., she graduated from Pond Creek High School.

Laurna married Charles Eden Bergman Sept. 2, 1950, in Noel, Mo. Of this union three sons were born.

Laurna enjoyed her flowers and the birds and animals that visited her backyard. She is remembered by her family as the most lovable woman in the world, who knew no strangers.

She is survived by husband Charles, of the home; brother, Reed Kirkpatrick of St. Joseph, Mo.; son, Tom and wife Robin, son, Mike and wife Teresa, and son Kirk. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah Bergman and their children, John and Anna, Miranda Bergman, Sarah and Chris Barnwell and daughter Lilyanne, Jonas and Brooke Bergman and daughter Poppy, and Tanner Bergman and fiancée Hannah.

Graveside service for Laurna Dee will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, in Pond Creek Cemetery. The Rev. George Lupton will officiate. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

Memorials may be made to Pond Creek Cemetery.
